Things obviously are changing and whether it is for the better or not depends on your view of things.
Here are some examples.
Greatly:
The Maybenauts are really doing well. By well i mean yay publicity, boo no money.
Just got back from playing Summerfest in Milwaukee. Good times!
The Sonnets are doing ok but our drummer is is Memphis which kind of sucks but its better than not having one again.
We will try to record the 7 new songs in Memphis mid August but until then it is a matter of waiting.
The Hamburglars are the Hamburglars. Robble robble robble new record and shows. Amazing.
The Crombies are set to debut July 10 w/ Mustard Plug @ Beat Kitchen, Chicago. Skank till your hearts aching.
Humboldt Gong still has 2 dates a month however one is a city gig. Maybe things will turn better.
Sadly:
Emilie Jaeger Project has ended.
M-Birds still not ready.
No rockabilly yet.
Need cash.
Need better jobs.
Going to lose car soon :(
oh well...lets see what happens.

'Mystery Girl' was a tour de force for sure, but the first official full-length album by The Sonnets was titled either 'Non-Stop' or 'Let's Just Put Something Out'. They both had the same tracks and graphics, only the titles were different. So I ended up finding some old copies around and decided to re-release them digitally and also with the old CD's i had made. Follow the link!

THE SONNETS will once again be re-releasing their out of print first full-length CD Album "Let's Just Put Something Out" (or Non-Stop as some rare versions were sold). It will be available as a digital download through CD Baby and other sources. Also, The Sonnets will be recording some new songs that have been performed at some of their later shows. There will be some more exciting things to come in this year so stay tuned!

THE MAYBENAUTS will be soon releasing their debut EP - CD titled "Big Bang". It contains 5 songs, one which was produced and recorded by the dynamic duo of Travis Kasperbauer (Pro-Tools guru) and Jane Weidlin (the Go-Go's!). The other 4 songs were recorded and mixed by Eric Yoder (Horse Drawn Productions) in their loverly new state of the art studio in scenic Berwynnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. They will also be doing a radio show w/ Razor and Die, and an afternoon show supporting UIC Radio. Not to mention an all out, big budget, full-on, music video to be done in the spring.

THE HAMBURGLARS will be releasing their debut 7" with some songs that will make you robble robble incessantly. They will also be doing a roller derby between bout so don't miss out on your chance to see these legendary creatures of doom.

The EMILIE JAEGER GROUP is in the midst of recording their first 3 song demo and will be hitting up Cole's in late March. With a new batch of songs and reworks this should be a good one!

The IRVING PARKAS will be doing 2 shows this year! The first will feature obscure 60s mod anthems for the ModChicago weekender, the latter will feature more mod revival songs for the MODS vs. ROCKERS event.

LES CHEQUES will soon be skankin' their 2-Tone sound in this new year. Stay tuned & get ska'd for life!

Other projects involving yours truly include a country-rockabilly recording session with the belle of the ball GINA KNAPIK; a tribute to fallen great power-popper Doug Fieger with the DIRTY BEATLES; a night of britpop supreme w a BLUR tribute; and a most blues running rave-up band called the M-BIRDS. All this and so much more...oh yeah and don't forget the first city shows of HUMBOLDT GONG!
